Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist in Massachusetts to set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis Swiss-style automatic lathes, producing high-precision components from blueprints to inspection.

The role offers a full-time position with a salary range of $70,000–$95,000 per year, plus annual bonus, 401(k), PTO, and full health benefits. Shift is First, hours 8 AM–4 PM, with education at least High School.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in CNC machining.
• Experience with multi-axis Swiss-style lathes and precision components.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Load material, unload finished parts, deburr edges for safety, and perform daily maintenance and cleaning on your machine.
• Job Setups: Install fixtures, assemble cutting tools per tool sheets, download CNC programs, set machining offsets (G54, etc.), run test parts, and adjust until specs are met.
• Tooling & Offsets: Recognize tool wear, adjust tool/fixture offsets, and replace tooling as needed.
• Quality Inspection: Use calipers, micrometers, gauges and inspect parts on a CMM or vision system to ensure they meet blueprint specs.
• Shop Collaboration: Read CNC programs line-by-line, run multiple machines, fill out quality paperwork, and train newer team members.
