Job summary

Top Echelon LLC in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist for a 1st shift, full-time role. The candidate will read blueprints, set up and operate Star Swiss lathes, perform tool changes and G-code edits, and ensure part conformity.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, aerospace experience preferred, and the ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Reads and studies blueprints and customer specifications to perform setup, operations and adjustments of CNC Star Swiss Lathes.
• Performs inspections of self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process).
• Sets up machines and performs tool changes and offset adjustments; maintains machine condition.

Responsibilities

• Reads and studies Blueprints and Customer Specifications to best perform Setup, Operations and Adjustments of CNC Star Swiss Lathe. G-Code edit experience is a plus.
• Performs Inspections of self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process).
• Candidates will perform Inspection of their produced parts using Gauges, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
• Responsible for Changing Offsets and Tools, Performing G-Code Edits and Preventative Maintenance of Machines
• Candidate is required to Setup Machines to achieve their full capabilities.
