MW Components in Corona, CA is seeking a CNC Lathe setup machinist/CNC Operator II for the first shift. You will perform full CNC setup and operation, read blueprints, and ensure tight tolerances on stainless and alloy parts.

We value precision, teamwork, and a safety-first mindset. The role includes training Operator I staff, maintaining records, and collaborating with programmers to improve processes on the shop floor.

Formación

• Minimum of two (2) years of machine operation and setup experience.
• Proficiency with basic CNC setup, offsets, and tool changes.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T symbols.
• Familiarity with stainless steel, aluminum, and exotic alloys.

Responsabilidades

• Perform full CNC machine setup and operation, including tooling, fixturing, and offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot machining issues such as wear, deviation, vibration, and surface finish.
• Collaborate with programmers or engineers on process improvements and manufacturability solutions.
• Train and mentor CNC Operator I personnel.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep machines in good condition.
• May work in other departments as needed.
