Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines and propulsion systems, seeks a Cell Leader for the HSMC Vanes Business Unit. You will guide a skilled bargaining unit, drive continuous improvement, and manage daily supervision with project coordination to meet customer needs.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost reduction within an onsite East Hartford environment. A relevant degree and leadership experience, plus the ability to obtain security clearance, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering, or Business with 3+ years leadership experience in technical/operational settings or an Associates with 5+ years leadership experience.
• U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.
• Experience with continuous improvement principles (lean manufacturing, ACE, QCPC).
• Active security clearance and/or ability to gain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to skilled HSMC-S bargaining unit employees.
• Lead employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts.
• Drive safety, quality, production, procurement and cost improvements.
• Perform daily supervision, project management and cross-functional communications.
