Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Assembly Associate to lead a production line on 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00AM–3:30PM or until work is completed). The role serves as Team Captain, ensuring production, safety and quality standards are met, while monitoring line performance and escalating issues as needed.

You will maintain production records, coordinate line setup and changeovers, operate line equipment, train new staff, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the shift.
• Willingness to work overtime with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records and data entry.
• Ensure efficient line workflow, staffing, line setup, and changeovers.
• Operate machinery to install components on products along the line.
• Enforce safety and compliance standards for all activities.
• Escalate safety or operational issues to supervisors.
• Train and onboard new team members using standard processes.
• Delegate tasks and drive work to completion with accountability.
• Communicate daily targets and responsibilities to the team.
• Provide assembly expertise and address team questions.
• Model high performance and reinforce procedures.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects as assigned.
