Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Assembly Associate to work on the manufacturing production line as a Team Captain, ensuring the line meets production, safety, and quality requirements. The role monitors line operations and escalates issues to the appropriate parties, while ensuring workflow and QRA compliance with team training.

The position involves leading the line, maintaining records, and supporting continuous improvement efforts on the assembly floor, with a strong emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the shift
• Overtime work with little to no advance notice
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records and data entry
• Manage line workflow, staffing, line setup, and changeovers
• Operate machinery to install components along the assembly line
• Enforce safety and compliance standards
• Escalate safety, compliance, or operational issues to supervisors
• Train and onboard new team members
• Delegate tasks and drive work to completion
• Communicate daily targets and responsibilities to the team
• Provide assembly expertise and address team questions
• Promote high performance and reinforce procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement and assist with additional duties
