Cardinal Health is seeking an Associate II, Assembly to support manufacturing in DeLand, FL. You will operate multiple machines, perform routine inspections and verify outputs against quality standards.
This role requires 1–2 years of experience and a High School diploma or GED. The position pays $18.25 per hour (shift differential) and includes Cardinal Health benefits. You will also record data, report defects, and follow SOPs under supervision.
Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Assembly performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
The Associate II, Assembly plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Cardinal Health medical products. The Associate II, Assembly operates multiple machines at once and performs routine inspections of manufactured products in accordance with quality specifications. This job reports defects and works with the quality team to investigate and identify route causes. This job ensures that manufactured parts are captured in bins and prepared for transport. The Associate II, Assembly tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.
