Job summary

Roof Talent America (RTA) is seeking a Business Development Representative to lead the commercial roofing sales function. You will own the full cycle—from sourcing leads to site visits and closing deals—and drive service and maintenance agreements that feed reroof opportunities.

As the first dedicated sales hire, you’ll build the pipeline, hit clear KPIs, and eventually lead the team as it grows, with a hybrid work setup after an in-office training period.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B sales with proven ability to build from a standing start.
• Comfortable working to KPIs and a defined sales process.
• Strong CRM and pipeline discipline.
• Physically able to climb a ladder when a superintendent isn't available.
• Roofing experience not required; construction backgrounds considered but not preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle: source the lead, make the call, visit the site, close the deal.
• Win commercial service and maintenance agreements to access reroof work.
• Build and manage your pipeline in the CRM against clear KPIs.
• Deliver signed agreements from a standing start to a 30/60/90-day plan.
• Set the sales process that future reps will follow.
