Job summary

Regit is hiring its first non-founder engineer to build and operate a secure, scalable financial infrastructure platform. You will shape architecture, set engineering standards, and partner with client teams while delivering on a governed data spine.

You will own production-grade Rust services, while coordinating with Dagster, Kubernetes, and cloud components to support regulatory calculations and evidence packaging. This role blends hands-on work with architectural influence.

Qualifications

• Strong production experience with Rust or comparable systems-level backend engineering.
• Experience building and operating a data platform, control plane, storage system or distributed system.
• Deep practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, workflow execution, idempotency and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production platform services in Rust.
• Develop multi-branch regulatory workflows converging on one governed data spine.
• Build the governed data path across immutable source data, typed datasets and bitemporal facts.
• Design reliable Dagster orchestration, using Python primarily as orchestration glue around Rust services.
• Lead the evolution to production Kubernetes deployments.
• Establish engineering standards and hiring foundations for the team that follows.
