Job summary

Enjet Aero in New Britain, CT is seeking aQuality Control Inspector to perform 1st piece inspections and verify part-to-print conformity. You will apply GD&T, inspect with micrometers and CMMs, and document results while supporting the manufacturing process.

Strong attention to detail and aerospace experience are essential. The role requires reading blueprints, understanding GD&T symbols, identifying defects, and producing accurate inspection reports consistent with Pratt & Whitney

Qualifications

• Proficient at reading blueprints.
• Strong understanding of GD&T symbols.
• Experience identifying visual defects.
• Proficient with measurement equipment including CMMs, calipers, micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Perform 1st piece inspections and evaluate part-to-print specifications.
• Understand inspection methods used for inspection while supporting manufacturing.
• Complete all required inspection paperwork and reports.
• Identify dimensional and visual defects; maintain accuracy.
• Utilize mold casts to check ID dimensions and ensure aerospace compliance.
