Job summary

Enjet Aero, LLC in Manchester, CT is seeking an Aerospace Quality Inspector to perform in-process, final and 1st article inspections of sheet metal fabrications and machined parts in support of production.

You will use blueprints, GD&T, and measurement tools to verify conformance to prints, report results, and maintain strict quality documentation in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Aerospace/manufacturing quality inspection experience.
• Proficient at reading blueprints.
• Knowledge of dimensional symbols.
• Ability to identify visual defects.
• Ability to read micrometers, calipers and comparator.
• Knowledge of measuring equipment.
• Team oriented and collaborative.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Adhere to document control procedures.
• Knowledge of various inspection reports.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to work without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, final and 1st article inspections on sheet metal fabrications and machined parts.
• Evaluate part to print specifications and inspection methods.
• Prepare inspection reports and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain awareness of ISO 9001/AS 9100 requirements.
• Support manufacturing processes and personnel with inspection expertise.
• Identify and communicate dimensional and visual defects.
