Job summary

Condor Software is seeking a People Operations Manager to build and run the people function end to end. This is our first dedicated People hire, and you will design onboarding, compensation structures, and development programs.

You will report to the VP of Finance & Operations and focus on the day-to-day experience of everyone in the company, balancing a blank-page ethos with reliable, scalable people operations that payroll, benefits, and careers depend on.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in People Operations, HR, or a related role.
• Experience with multi-state employment compliance.
• Experience building leveling frameworks and compensation bands.
• Strong HRIS and systems fluency; Rippling preferred.
• Payroll and benefits administration experience.
• Daily use of AI to automate processes in HR.

Responsibilities

• Own Rippling as the system of record, ensuring data integrity and integrations.
• Run payroll and benefits administration, including open enrollment and COBRA.
• Oversee employment compliance, I-9s, multi-state registrations, handbook and leave administration.
• Maintain people data and reporting, headcount and attrition, org views for Finance.
• Manage Notion workspace structure for policies and processes.
• Leverage AI to automate onboarding, documentation, and employee Q&A.
• Design onboarding to ensure a great first day and quick productivity.
• Oversee offboarding, including transition planning and final pay.
• Own recruiting operations with Ashby, interview design, and candidate experience.
• Collaborate with hiring managers on role scoping and process improvements.
