Job summary

EBAS Group is seeking its first senior marketing hire to define a new category for AI-powered enterprise software. Location: New York or Remote. You will own category creation, branding, demand generation, and PLG, building the marketing engine from the ground up alongside the CEO.

You’ll craft positioning, launch narratives, and sales enablement, while shaping thought leadership and analyst presence. This is a rare chance to build a category-defining function early.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of B2B marketing with senior leadership.
• Experience creating a new category.
• Exceptional storytelling and positioning skills.
• Brand-building from early stage and stealth exit.
• Experience with self-serve and enterprise demand gen.
• Ownership of marketing metrics, pipeline, attribution, revenue.
• Hands-on PLG, activation, conversion, retention.
• Hiring and building high-performing teams.
• Comfortable being first senior marketing leader.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the category; build positioning and narrative.
• Build brand identity and voice from stealth to market.
• Build demand engine across self-serve and enterprise; manage funnel.
• Lead product-led growth: activation, conversion, lifecycle, pricing tests.
• Translate product into compelling market narratives; enable sales.
• Create content and thought leadership; establish market POV.
• Shape analyst/press ecosystem presence.
• Build and scale the marketing team across functions.
