Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley is seeking a Quality Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to join Boeing Defense, Space & Security. The role focuses on developing quality plans, supplier quality, and verification activities across major programs, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.

Candidates should have a B.S. in a related field, 3+ years of data analysis and AS9100 experience, and be prepared for up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science or CS.
• Experience in low observable processes.
• Experience developing methods for testing/approval of products, processes, equipment and measurement systems.
• 3+ years collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data.
• 3+ years using AS9100 or a similar QMS standard.

Responsibilities

• Advise on preparation of bids and proposals.
• Author quality plans for major programs.
• Advise suppliers on quality plans and requirement flowdown.
• Develop quality criteria for supplier selection and validation.
• Lead verification reviews to ensure product/process readiness.
• Develop methods for testing, validation and measurement systems.
• Represent quality in design reviews of multi-system interfaces.
