Job summary

blazetalent is seeking its first Growth Engineer in New York City (in-office) to design and ship experiments that drive user acquisition, activation, and retention. You’ll partner with product and design to build data-informed features that move key metrics while aligning with the client’s creative-first brand identity.

This is a highly impactful role, owning growth initiatives end-to-end from concept to measurement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with three creative tools or has built one before.
• Strong track record of shipping rapid experiments, running A/B tests, and driving measurable growth.
• Proficient in Posthog or comparable quantitative tracking tools.
• Ability to move between frontend and backend tasks with ease.
• Advanced skills in React, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, CSS and modern build systems.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly design, implement, and evaluate growth experiments across onboarding, funnels, and viral loops.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure growth initiatives align with the brand’s creative identity.
• Use analytics tools (Posthog or similar) to measure outcomes, track performance, and inform iteration.
• Work across the stack, from frontend UI adjustments to backend instrumentation.
• Establish and shape growth engineering best practices as the first hire dedicated to this area.
