Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to pass the criminal history review and S414.

Responsibilities

• Plan class activities and lesson presentations that are age-appropriate and meet individual needs.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with district goals.
• Incorporate required accommodations and services per each student's IEP.
• Works to achieve state standards and district educational goals through active learning.
• Communicate with parents regarding pupil progress and participate in staff meetings.
