Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement lessons in accordance with the district curriculum and approved materials.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to student needs and IEPs.
• Set objectives in lesson prep and weekly plans and teach toward those goals.
• Plan age-appropriate activities meeting student needs, interests and abilities.
• Collaborate with staff during designated planning times and integrate IEP requirements.
