Qualifications

• Requires valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to pass the criminal history review and S414 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Teach in accordance with the district curriculum and board of education guidelines.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to students' IEPs.
• Plan age-appropriate activities and differentiate instruction to meet needs.
• Establish classroom management fostering respect, safety and participation.
• Communicate with parents and collaborate with staff on student progress.
