Floresville ISD is seeking an Elementary Teacher for 1st grade to provide rigorous learning experiences, foster growth in intellectual, emotional, physical, and social aspects, and help students meet district standards.

The role requires a Texas EC-6 Generalist certificate (or equivalent) with endorsements for the assigned subject/grade; ESL certification is preferred. Strong classroom management and collaboration with staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and Texas teaching certification.
• Endorsements or training for subject/grade assigned; ESL preferred.
• AED certification for PE teachers when applicable.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum with accommodations.
• Plan and use instructional strategies reflecting diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Set instructional goals with staff and coach student progress.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers and oversee tasks.
