Job summary

Floresville ISD is seeking an Elementary Teacher (EC-6 Certified) for the 2026-2027 school year. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and a Texas EC-6 Generalist certificate, with ESL certification preferred. The teacher will report to the Principal and work on an assigned campus.

Responsibilities include creating engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with special education staff to support diverse learners. AED certification is required for PE teachers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate for EC-6 Generalist or with endorsements/training; ESL cert preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• AED certificate for PE teachers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials for diverse learners.
• Assess student learning and use results to guide planning.
