Floresville ISD is seeking a Certified Teacher - Secondary for the 2026-2027 school year. You will develop lesson plans, implement evidence-based instructional strategies, assess student learning, and collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned;ESL certification preferred
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
AED certificate (for PE teachers)

Responsabilités

Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect district curriculum and accommodate diverse learners.
Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies, materials, and technology aligned with TEA guidelines and AP/IC expectations.
Assess student learning styles and use results to inform instruction.
Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP guidelines.
Coordinate with campus staff to set instructional goals and monitor progress.
Plan and supervise work for instructional aides and volunteers.
