Job summary

Integrity Staffing Services is seeking experienced First Class Shipfitters to join our ship repair team. You will perform advanced structural fitting, fabrication, and installation on naval and commercial vessels, reading blueprints and ensuring precise layouts and tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as First Class Shipfitter in ship repair.
• Strong knowledge of shipboard structural systems and fitting techniques.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, with commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural fitting, fabrication, and installation of ship components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Execute precise layout work and ensure proper alignment of structural components.
• Fit, tack, and assemble steel and aluminum structures to tight tolerances.
• Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and other trades to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
