Qualifications

• Comprehend instructions and structural drawings.
• Understand ship repair terminology.
• Physically capable of wearing required PPE.
• Write comprehensive Condition Found Reports.
• Read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate templates and install structures accurately.
• Use cutting tools and welding equipment safely.
• Understand aluminum 5XXX process.
• Experience in trade with five years minimum.

Responsibilities

• Perform steel and aluminum structural work with minimal supervision.
• Repair and modernize marine vessels as per specifications.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety practices.
• Confer job-related information to supervisors and teams.
