First Assistant District Attorney position with 220 DISTRICT ATTORNEYS COUNCIL in Idabel, Oklahoma. This full-time role reports to the District Attorney and covers a full range of duties including advising county government operations and handling criminal offenses.

Salary ranges from $125,000–$145,000 with full State of Oklahoma benefits, including health coverage, paid sick and vacation leave, and holidays. JD and Oklahoma Bar membership with extensive trial experience are required.

  • POSITION TITLE: First Assistant District Attorney
  • LOCATION: Idabel, Oklahoma
  • STATUS: Full-Time/Immediate Opening
  • CLOSING: Open Until Filled
  • SALARY: Competitive salary $125k - 145K, commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • BENEFITS: Full State of Oklahoma benefits, including generous monthly allowance for health coverage, paid sick and vacation leave earned monthly. Paid holidays.
  • JOB DESCRIPTION: District 17 (McCurtain, Choctaw, and Pushmataha Counties) is seeking an applicant to perform a full range of duties including, but not limited to, being an advisor for all county government operations, and handling of all criminal offenses. The position will report directly to the District Attorney.
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Juris Doctorate from an accredited Law school, and to be a member in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association. Extensive trial experience is mandatory. Working knowledge of county government is preferred but not required.
