Arrow Electronics in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a First Article Associate (New Product Introduction Technician) to support new and existing customers with their product needs. This in-office role operates Monday–Friday and involves creating first articles for firmware programming under engineer guidance.

You will track customer requirements, manage order entry for key accounts, and develop detailed production floor instructions from build data.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a 2-year degree with 2–4 years of experience, or a high school graduate with equivalent related experience.
• Under moderate supervision, supports key customers by requesting and tracking requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports key customers by requesting and tracking customer specific requirements and ensuring internal processes meet defined customer requirements.
• Creates and develops first article for firmware programming under the direction of an engineer.
• Acts as account manager for key customer accounts including order entry and tracking.
• Produces detailed work instructions from first article build data for production floor.

Position: First Article Associate 1 Job Description: We are looking for a First Article Associate (New Product Introduction Technician) to join our team in Phoenix. This individual will be supporting our new and existing clients with their new product needs. Fully In Office: Monday-Friday What You'll Be Doing: Supports key customers by requesting and tracking customer specific requirements and ensuring Arrow internal processes meet the defined customer requirements and under the direction of an engineer creates and develops first article for firmware programming. Support key account customers by requesting and tracking customer specific requirements and ensuring our internal processes meet the defined CSR. Acts as account manager for key customer accounts including order entry, tracking, etc. Under the direction of an engineer, create and develop products/documentation per customers’ technical specifications and by analyzing technical data to determine appropriate setup criteria and project completion. Adhere to all quality compliance requirements through the execution of duties assigned by Engineering leadership. Use information gathered in the first article build process to create detailed work instruction to be used on the production floor, including taking photos of all stages. Provide support to production floor during Pilot runs.
