Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Data Owner Lead within the Chief Data & Analytics Office to drive strategic data initiatives and deliver high-quality data products. You will lead governance, curate datasets, and partner with Technology and Analytics to ensure data is scalable and usable across the enterprise.

You will work with Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, and Risk to ensure data quality, security, and compliance, while leveraging AI/ML tools to enhance governance and data management

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in data management, data governance, or risk management/analytics.
• Delivery of data products or curated datasets that integrate multiple sources for enterprise use.
• Proven leadership with ability to manage delivery timelines.
• Strong understanding of data management principles and governance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate consumer needs into data requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategic plans to deliver data solutions and data products that support business operations and strategic objectives.
• Manage project execution, mitigating risks and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with partners to document and classify critical data with metadata, enabling discovery and reuse.
• Provide subject matter expertise on data content and usage within business and product areas.
• Develop relationships with data providers and consumers across functions to improve usability of curated datasets and data products.
• Document requirements for data sourcing, content, and quality; define integration requirements for multiple upstream sources.
• Develop processes to identify and mitigate data risks throughout the data lifecycle with governance controls.
• Support data analytics by governing data integration into analytics platforms and creating feature-ready data products for ML use cases.
• Communicate and resolve data issues, drive remediation and preventative controls.
• Leverage AI/ML and LLM tooling to automate governance and data management activities.
