Milwaukee Tool seeks a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician to support firmware development and lab operations. You will program MCUs, review firmware function, analyze and prevent errors, and maintain the Secure Programming Lab.

The role requires strong problem solving, solid electrical knowledge, and safety awareness. Responsibilities extend to testing products for quality, identifying root causes, and documenting investigations while following work instructions and maintaining lab

Formación

• Technical education in Electrical Engineering (2-year associate degree or military equivalent).
• Proficient with electrical test equipment and basic soldering techniques.
• Experience with reading electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with Python or Matlab is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Programming MCUs with proprietary software.
• Performing functional review of firmware on MCUs.
• Analyzing programming errors and mitigating future errors.
• Maintaining the Secure Programming Lab.
• Test and inspect Milwaukee Tool products for quality.
• Identify symptoms of broken or non-conforming parts and investigate root causes.
• Order and prep raw materials for testing.
• Document and present data from root cause investigations.
• Read and follow work instructions; operate lab safely.
• Understand and comply with hazardous voltage safety requirements.
• Support lab cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Assist Quality/Reliability team as needed.
