Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Firmware Engineer II to join our electrical engineering team. You will design, develop, prototype, test and troubleshoot embedded systems powering real-time applications.

Collaborate with global engineers, support milestones, and apply knowledge of UL/CE standards as needed. Requires 2+ years of embedded C/C++, LabVIEW, and CI/CD experience; travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of embedded C/C++ experience.
• Experience with LabVIEW, CI/CD, or HIL testing.
• Familiarity with software config management and peer reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, test and troubleshoot embedded systems for real-time apps.
• Develop and execute firmware test plans and procedures.
• Use oscilloscopes, power supplies and data acquisition systems.
• Conduct experiments, simulations, and data-driven conclusions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance.
