Itron is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join an international, multicultural firmware organization. You will develop firmware in C/C++ for a range of energy and water solutions, participate in design, debugging, validation and maintenance, and support field deployments for product lifecycles that span decades.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware debugging, adherence to standards (ISO, IEEE, FCC, UL), and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with firmware development and testing within regulated environments.

Mansioni

• Develop firmware and unit tests in C/C++.
• Assist in design, documentation, debugging, validation and maintenance of firmware.
• Hands-on debugging in the hardware lab.
• Support products after deployment across long lifetimes.
