Itron, Inc. is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join our international and multicultural Firmware organization in Liberty Lake, WA or Waseca, MN.

You will contribute across the full development lifecycle and work with a local team on a wide range of solutions for residential and commercial products. The role focuses on firmware design, debugging and validation, with emphasis on C/C++ development, ISO/IEEE standards, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with firmware development and testing.
• Understanding of ISO/IEEE standards and FCC/UL regulatory frameworks.

Aufgaben

• Operating in a rigorous development environment with regular, internal integration and external customer-facing system releases.
• Assisting in design, documentation, development, debugging, validation and maintenance of code.
• Developing firmware and associated unit tests in C/C++.
• Hands-on debugging in the hardware lab.
