Job summary

Itron's Liberty Lake, WA or Waseca, MN site seeks a Firmware Engineer to develop and maintain firmware for residential and industrial products. You'll work with a multinational team across the full development lifecycle, implementing standards-based features and performing hands-on debugging in the hardware lab.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, strong C/C++, familiarity with scripting languages, RTOS, and knowledge of communication protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Firmware development experience preferred.
• Embedded programming with RTOS and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware and unit tests in C/C++.
• Assists in design, documentation, development, debugging and maintenance of code.
• Debugs and validates firmware to standards and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on hardware lab debugging and field-support through product lifetime.
