POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT
This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, hour and wage, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and other legal requirements.
- Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
- Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness, fostering a cheerful and fun work environment aligned with Firehouse Subs values.
- Ensure the profitability of the business by managing food costs, labor, utilities, and sales growth within established guidelines.
- Coordinate and implement current operational plans and company initiatives efficiently.
- Ensure proper staffing with qualified, trained, and developed personnel.
- Oversee ongoing training and development of Assistant Managers and Shift Managers.
- Participate actively in local restaurant marketing efforts.
- Implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
- Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule.
- Engage in community affairs to enhance sales and public relations.
- Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
- Communicate effectively with GM/Owner regarding any issues impacting the business.
- Maintain restaurant equipment in good working order and report issues immediately.
- Work on your feet for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Owner.
