The City of Burlington is hiring a Firefighter-Paramedic at entry level or lateral. Candidates must pursue or hold a Washington State Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic, with IFSAC Firefighter I or equivalent. Lateral candidates need 24 months full-time experience and NR Paramedic at application.

CPAT is required within 30 days of offer, testing on Nov 17, 2026. There are extensive benefits included, such as health/dental/vision insurance, vacation, sick leave, and retirement

Qualificações

• Entry Level: Firefighter I or equivalent; WA Paramedic Cert preferred, or National Registry Paramedic at hire.
• Lateral: 24 months full-time within last 36 months; IFSAC Firefighter I; WA Paramedic preferred, must hold NR Paramedic at application.
• All candidates must have or obtain CPAT within 30 days of conditional offer and be available for in-person testing Nov 17, 2026.
