Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Texas Basic Firefighter certification (Intermediate preferred).
• TDHS EMT Paramedic required.
• Driver/Operator license preferred, must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• NIMS 100, 200, 700, 701, 702, 703, 704, 800 training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies under supervision, perform fire suppression, EMS, and prevention activities.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, gear, and apparatus per procedures.
• Follow incidents command system and public safety protocols.
• Engage with the community through prevention and education activities.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and department SOPs.
