Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a dedicated firefighter to perform firefighting tasks, rescue operations, and emergency medical care as part of a team. The role requires operating various fire apparatus, conducting inspections, and maintaining readiness to respond to alarms.

The position is full-time, on-site, with possible travel for training and certifications. Candidates must meet DoD DoE requirements, hold required certifications, and maintain fitness standards for mission essential duties.

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience extinguishing fires as part of a fire department or brigade.
Ability to conduct rescue operations and administer emergency medical aid.
Certifications through DoD/IFSAC/PRO-Board; IV authorization within 12 months.
Must maintain cardiovascular fitness and complete annual tests.

Responsibilities

Respond to alarms, combat fires, and rescue personnel with full firefighting tasks.
Operate firefighting apparatus, ventilate buildings, evacuate occupants.
Conduct fire prevention inspections of structures, facilities, airfields.
Assist on-scene with hazardous materials identification and containment.
Provide on-scene EMT care as part of a firefighting team.
