Job summary

Obsolete Site seeks a qualified firefighter to operate and drive emergency vehicles, engage in structural firefighting, rescue, and hazardous materials response. The role includes delivering Basic Life Support, maintaining ambulance equipment, and performing inspections and standby duties in a dynamic field environment.

Applicants must meet DoD DoD Fire and Emergency Services standards, pass medical and background checks, and maintain required certifications including EMT and CPR/AED.

Qualifications

• Specialized firefighting experience including search and rescue, fire prevention inspections, and incident response.
• Experience driving and operating emergency services apparatus.
• Basic Life Support procedures and medical protocols (CPR/AED).

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate firefighting/rescue vehicles and participate in rescue operations (confined space, high-angle, etc).
• Perform noninvasive emergency medical procedures to provide Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Maintain ambulance equipment (backboards, suction devices, monitors, oxygen, etc) and order supplies as needed.
• Perform fire protection/prevention inspections.
• Complete maintenance, operational, housekeeping, emergency and standby duties as necessary.
