Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer II in New Hampshire to assist in and independently develop test plans and fixtures for medium to highly complex test projects on firearm systems.

The position requires firearms experience, a BS in Engineering, 3–6 years in engineering, and proficiency with LabVIEW/MATLAB, Minitab, and Agile PLM. The candidate must work independently within a fast-paced, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3–6 years in engineering required.
• Experience identifying and troubleshooting firearm malfunctions preferred.
• Experience using and maintaining firearms required.
• Pistol, rifle, and shotgun training certifications preferred.
• Range safety certifications coursework and compliance required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; LabVIEW/MATLAB data analysis and Minitab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate test equipment safely per manuals and standards.
• Follow test plans and document data and reports.
• Develop new/write test plans using QA principles.
• Lead test plan reviews to ensure testing goals.
• Analyze test data to support engineering decisions.
• Design fixtures and build test supports for firearms.
• Create documentation in Agile PLM.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate issues and corrective actions to supervision.
• Maintain 5S standards and safety compliance.
