Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. seeks a Test Engineer II in New Hampshire to support medium to highly complex test projects for firearm systems.

You will develop and edit test plans and build fixtures, collaborating with Product Management, Operations, and R&D to ensure rigorous test execution. Requirements include a BS in engineering and 3–6 years in engineering, firearms experience, LabVIEW/MATLAB, Minitab, and PLM (Agile).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 3–6 years of engineering experience.
• Experience identifying and troubleshooting firearm malfunctions preferred.
• Experience using and maintaining firearms required.
• Pistol, rifle, and shotgun training certifications preferred.
• Range safety qualifications including First Aid/Trauma Management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; LabVIEW or MATLAB programming; data analysis with Minitab; experience with a PLM system (Agile) required.
• Strong communication, ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate test equipment and follow test plans.
• Develop or edit written test plans and create test reports.
• Analyze test data with statistics to support engineering decisions.
• Design fixtures and build for testing firearms and subassemblies.
• Create item numbers and change orders in Agile PLM.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S standards.
• Communicate issues and corrective actions to supervision.
• Perform duties with adherence to safety and ISO procedures.
