Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; firearms safety training is a plus.
• Experience in firearms sales or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding firearms sales and transfers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging customers.
• Ability to actively listen and provide clear, articulate responses.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate transactions and displays.
• Proficiency with computer systems for transaction processing and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere in the firearms department.
• Engage customers to understand needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Provide expert guidance and unbiased product recommendations on firearms and accessories.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to firearms sales and transfers.
• Complete firearm compliance training and understand the Firearms SOP.
• Assist with selecting ammunition and related products; maintain displays.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation.
• Stay informed on firearm trends and industry news to provide informed recommendations.
• Upsell and promote RK Firearms Plus Protection Plan and store loyalty program.
• Participate in cross-training and company learning initiatives.
