Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; firearms safety training is a plus.
• Previous firearms sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local firearms laws.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Active listening and clear explanations.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient with computer systems for transactions and records.
• Commitment to safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Engage customers to understand needs and budget.
• Provide expert guidance and unbiased product recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with firearms laws and safety practices.
• Complete firearm compliance training and SOP understanding.
• Assist with selecting ammunition and accessories.
• Maintain organized firearms displays with accurate labeling.
• Process transactions accurately at the POS.
• Stay updated on firearm trends and models.
• Address customer questions and provide resolutions or escalate as needed.
• Build long-term relationships for repeat business.
• Demonstrate product features and conduct demonstrations.
• Upsell and cross-sell to increase sale value.
• Promote RK Firearms Plus Protection Plan and loyalty program.
• Participate in cross-training and training programs.
• Provide proactive internal and external support.
