Rural King is seeking a Firearms Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service in our firearms department. You will apply your knowledge of firearms and safety to help customers find the right products while ensuring compliance with laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; firearms safety training is a plus.
• Previous firearms sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local firearms laws.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
• Proficiency with computer systems for transactions and records.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming department atmosphere.
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations based on customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local firearms laws.
• Assist customers with ammunition and related products.
• Operate the POS register and process transactions.
• Maintain organized firearms displays and accurate pricing.
• Upsell and promote RKFPPP and store loyalty programs.
• Participate in cross-training in other departments.
• Stay informed on current firearm models and industry trends.
