Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Firearms Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and firearm product knowledge in our Jeffersonville, IN store. You will engage customers, explain product features, and ensure adherence to all safety and legal requirements.

The role emphasizes accurate transactions, proper display maintenance, and active participation in training programs while promoting RKFPPP and store loyalty initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Prior firearms sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local firearms laws and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interactions.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine their needs in the firearms department.
• Provide expert product guidance and unbiased recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with all firearms laws and regulations.
• Assist with ammunition, accessories, and related products selection.
• Maintain organized and properly labeled displays and pricing.
• Process transactions and necessary documentation accurately.
• Upsell and promote RK Firearms Plus Protection Plan and loyalty programs.
• Participate in training and cross-training across departments.
• Provide friendly, proactive support and resolve customer inquiries.
