Rural King is seeking a Firearms Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and expert firearm knowledge. You will help customers select ammunition and accessories, ensure compliance with laws, and maintain a safe, organized display.

The role includes handling purchases at the POS, staying current on products, participating in training, and building lasting customer relationships while promoting RKFPPP and store loyalty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; firearms safety training a plus.
• Experience in firearms sales or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local firearms laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere in the firearms department.
• Provide expert guidance and unbiased product recommendations based on customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations governing firearms sales and transfers.
• Assist customers in selecting ammunition and related accessories.
• Maintain organized, clearly labeled firearms displays and accurate pricing.
• Process transactions accurately at the POS and manage necessary documentation.
• Stay informed about firearms trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations.
• Build lasting relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
