Scheels in Minnesota is seeking a Firearms Sales Associate to deliver world class customer service and assist with firearm questions and purchases. You will greet customers, explain safety procedures, and help with education on ammunition, reloading, and optics.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1-3 months of cashiering experience. Starting wage is $17.50/hour with a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 months of cashiering experience preferred.
• Ability to handle firearm-related paperwork and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete firearm sales paperwork (Form 4473, licensing, background checks) accurately.
• Demonstrate proper firearm safety and handling.
• Evaluate and appraise firearms for resale.
• Greet customers and assist with firearm purchases.
• Promote Scheels credit options and provide product recommendations.
