Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and 1–3 months cashiering experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age due to firearm-compliance requirements.
• Customer-focused, friendly, and accurate in handling transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with a smile and engage to provide personalized service.
• Accurately scan items and ensure proper ringing and payment.
• Promote Scheels Visa and explain benefits.
• Process firearm returns/exchanges and complete background checks.
• Maintain Gun Room and ensure ATF compliance.
• Execute technology-based firearm transaction processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
