Job summary

Scheels in Minot, ND is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, provide personalized service, and process transactions. You will scan merchandise, bag purchases, and promote the Scheels Visa while ensuring accuracy and friendly service. Must be 21+ with a HS diploma or GED and cashiering experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED and/or 1-3 months of cashiering experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist as they enter and leave the store.
• Engage customers with personalized service and support the digital receipt program.
• Scan items accurately and ensure proper rung through and payment before checkout.
• Bag purchases carefully and promote Scheels Visa with clear benefits.
• Close each transaction with a courteous “thank you” to the customer.
• Assist with firearm-related processes and maintain compliance with ATF guidelines.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
