Job summary

The Safariland Group is seeking a Store Associate for our Buffalo, NY location to deliver excellent customer service and manage retail transactions. You will interact with customers in person, over the phone and by email, assisting with product knowledge and sales while maintaining inventory and store appearance.

You will handle firearms-related sales paperwork, ensure safety policies are followed, and participate in training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with all types of sales including uniforms, firearms, and ammunition.
• Complete required sales paperwork and firearm registrations.
• Process transactions (cash, credit, on-account).
• Provide prompt and courteous service in person and over the phone.
• Research product information to help customers choose the best option.
• Assist with inventory placement, organization, and counting.
• Develop knowledge of existing and new product lines.
• Attend organizational or training meetings.
• Report issues to Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Merchandise and organize products on the sales floor.
• Maintain a clean, safe showroom.
• Other duties as assigned.
