Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Compliance Engineer / Compliance Specialist to ensure hollow metal doors and frames meet UL, Intertek, and related standards across multiple facilities. You will be the liaison between certification agencies and internal teams, managing listings and documentation for fire-rated and windstorm certifications.

You will prepare for inspections, conduct internal audits, drive corrective actions, and develop compliance procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, quality systems, or certification management in manufacturing.
• Experience with UL, Intertek or similar third-party bodies preferred.
• Knowledge of fire-rated, windstorm, and related product standards.
• Ability to lead audits and implement corrective actions across facilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain UL and Intertek certifications across multiple facilities and brands.
• Initiate listing updates for new or enhanced product offerings.
• Prepare facilities for third-party certification inspections with inspection-ready documentation.
• Conduct internal audits and drive corrective actions with operations teams.
• Develop, maintain, and update internal compliance procedures supporting certification requirements.
• Travel up to 40% to support audits and certifications, including Mexico and Canada.
