Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH is seeking a Compliance Engineer to ensure hollow metal doors and frames meet fire-rated and windstorm certifications. Based on-site at the Curries brand facility in Mason City, Iowa, you will coordinate with quality, engineering, and operations to maintain listings across multiple facilities and brands.

The role requires knowledge of UL/Intertek processes, strong documentation practices, and ability to travel up to 40% (including to Mexico and Canada).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, quality systems, or certification management within manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of building product standards and third-party certification processes (UL, Intertek) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities maintain compliance with industry standards, certifications, and codes.
• Manage UL and Intertek certifications for fire-rated and windstorm-certified products.
• Liaise between certification agencies and internal teams to keep listings up-to-date.
