Job summary

SERVPRO of Palo Alto is seeking a Priority Responder to join our team, serving as the first point of contact for clients affected by water and fire damage in the Milpitas area. You will monitor emergency alerts, arrive quickly at sites, and educate homeowners and business owners on our restoration services.

This role requires empathetic communication, ability to work flexible hours, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service, emergency response, or related field (mitigation/restoration experience a plus).
• Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with distressed property owners.
• Basic understanding of insurance claims and how fire losses are assessed.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emergency dispatch channels, fire reports, and news alerts to identify fire/water damaged properties.
• Arrive promptly at fire/water damaged sites to assess the situation and establish contact with property owners.
• Provide compassionate and professional assistance to home and business owners in distress.
• Educate potential clients about our water/fire damage restoration services and how we can assist their recovery.
• Build and maintain relationships with fire departments, insurance adjusters, and other emergency response personnel.
• Secure signed service agreements and coordinate immediate emergency services if needed.
• Collaborate with our restoration team to ensure a seamless transition from emergency response to restoration.
• Attend networking events and community meetings to promote our company and services.
